CASE

 CASE

A case is the main part of a computer. In a case, we adjust all the components of the computer and attach them with wires to components from PSU.

Today a case comes with RGB fans and a side glass panel. This RGB fans kit is also available separately in the market for cases. when the case is complete with all components it looks like this picture.

Types of case

There are many types of cases and almost every type of case is similar but these are some types of cases given below.

1. Full tower case

2. Mid tower case

3. Mini tower case

4. RGB glass window case

GPU

 GPU

GPU stands for graphic processing unit. GPU is specially made for performance, frames, and rendering. A GPU is a special thing for gamers because it converts a  game into reality with max graphics.

A GPU is a special electronic circuit designed to accelerate the creation of images in a frame. A GPU-programmable processor is also specialized for rendering all images on the computer screen. GPUs are used in mobile phones, computers, workstations, and consoles.

Some famous brands of GPU

1. Nvidia

2. AMD

Some famous manufacturing companies of GPUs in the world

1. ASUS

2. ZOTAC GAMING

3. GIGABYTE

4. AORUS

5. MSI

6. SAPPHIRE

Note: this list is unranked.

PSU

PSU

PSU stands for power supply unit. A PSU is like a converter that converts AC power to low-voltage DC power. The main work of a PSU is to give dc power to the internal components of the computer.

Some PSUs have a manual switch for choosing current voltage. The main work of the PSU is dividing current properly in every component of the computer.

Types of PSU in computer

1. Non-modular

A non-modular with all cables installed and attached to the PSU. It has a big disadvantage of non-modular PSU is you can not manage your cables properly.

2. Semi-modular

A semi-modular PSU with just the most essential cables needed for your pc is pre-installed and attached to the PSU. If you are using this PSU you can manage your cables.

3. Fully-modular

This fully-modular PSU is specially made for gamers. this PSU comes with no pre-installed and attached cables. it allows you to install the cables that you need. If you apply this PSU to your computer you are fully able to manage every cable as your wish.

HDD

HDD

HDD stands for (hard disk drive) it is used to store data. It is used for primary storage. It is available in every memory (GB). It plugged in the SATA port and pin.

it is available in two sizes one is especially for laptops (which are small HDD in size) and one is for computers (which are bigger than laptop HDD in size). It is heavy in weight than a SATA SSD. A laptop size HDD is also used in a computer and its works properly.

Sizes

3.5 computer size

2.5 laptop size

SSD

 SSD

A solid-state drive (SSD) is an updated new generation of storage that is used in computers, laptops, and consoles. SSDs store data much faster than a normal hard drive. SSDs also have no moving parts, and upgrading is a great way to speed up your computer.

With the help of SSD, we can make our computer faster than before. It is also used for secondary storage. Generally, people install windows on SSD. SSD is also used in consoles and laptops to increase software speed. We have available almost all storage (GB) in it. An SSD helps your laptop, computer, and console to work faster than before that's why SSD is more expensive than a normal hard drive.

Types of SSD

1. SATA

SATA is a type of SSD. SATA SSD looks like a laptop hard drive but it is low in weight than a normal laptop size hard drive. It connects with the SATA port and pins in the computer and laptop.

2. PCIe NVMe

NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) is the second type of SSD which is faster than SATA SSD. NVMe is little in size. It has many different sizes. To install NVMe a separate port is available in heavy and new-generation motherboards

RAM

RAM

RAM (Random Access Memory) is the main memory in a computer. It is much faster to read and write than other kinds of storage, and it is faster than hard disk drive (HDD) and solid-state drive (SSD).

RAM is a form of memory in a computer that can read and change data in any order, it is used to store working data and code. A RAM allows data items to be read and written in almost the same amount of time.

Types of RAM

1. Static RAM (SRAM)

Static RAM is the full form of SRAM. In this type of RAM, data is stored using the state of six memory cells. Static RAM is mostly used to store cache memory for the processor.

2. Dynamic RAM (DRAM)

DRAM stands for Dynamic Random Access Memory. This type of RAM allows you to store data in a separate capacitor within a specific circuit.

3. RGB RAM

AN RGB RAM comes with RGB lights in it on the RAM's top. it is a bit more costly than normal RAM. This RAM is specially made for gamers.

Types of memory in RAM

DDR

DDR2

DDR3

DDR4

DDR5

Work of DDR in a Ram

DDR-RAM stands for Double Data Rate Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory. These are the memory of the computer that transfers the data faster than regular chips like SDRAM chips because DDR memory can send and receive signals faster.

MOTHERBOARD

 MOTHERBOARD

The motherboard is a printed circuit board and special base of a computer that is the main board of a computer. It gives power and allows communication of the CPU, RAM, and all other hardware components of a computer.

A motherboard does the main job between the hardware components of a computer, like a CPU, RAM, hard drive, and GPU. There are multiple types of motherboards. Each type of motherboard is made for specific types of processors and memory, so they did not work with every type of processor and memory.

Types of MOTHERBOARDS

1. ATX Motherboard

2. LPX Motherboard

3. BTX Motherboard

4. Pico BTX motherboard

5. Mini ITX motherboard

Some famous brands of MOTHERBOARDS

1. ASRock.

2. Asus.

3. Biostar.

4. EVGA Corporation.

5. Gigabyte Technology.

6. MSI

PROCESSOR

 PROCESSOR

The computer's brain is a computer processor that which also known as a CPU  (central processing unit). It provides the instructions and processing power the computer needs to do its work.

It runs the computer's operating system, applications, and software of the computer to do whatever the user wants. The processor helps to complete the tasks. A processor is also called the brain of the computer. If you have a more powerful processor, your computer can think and work faster.

Purpose of a CPU

The purpose of a computer processor is to do the actual work done by the computer, which includes the computer's memory, handling users, and sending the output. With the help of a processor, we can operate an operating system in a computer

Types

Today most processors are multi-core which makes the enhanced performance of the processor and is also used for multitasking means you can complete two or more than two tasks at one time.
