RAM
RAM (Random Access Memory) is the main memory in a computer. It is much faster to read and write than other kinds of storage, and it is faster than hard disk drive (HDD) and solid-state drive (SSD).
RAM is a form of memory in a computer that can read and change data in any order, it is used to store working data and code. A RAM allows data items to be read and written in almost the same amount of time.
Types of RAM
1. Static RAM (SRAM)
Static RAM is the full form of SRAM. In this type of RAM, data is stored using the state of six memory cells. Static RAM is mostly used to store cache memory for the processor.
2. Dynamic RAM (DRAM)
DRAM stands for Dynamic Random Access Memory. This type of RAM allows you to store data in a separate capacitor within a specific circuit.
3. RGB RAM
AN RGB RAM comes with RGB lights in it on the RAM's top. it is a bit more costly than normal RAM. This RAM is specially made for gamers.
Types of memory in RAM
DDR2
DDR3
DDR4
DDR5
Work of DDR in a Ram
DDR-RAM stands for Double Data Rate Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory. These are the memory of the computer that transfers the data faster than regular chips like SDRAM chips because DDR memory can send and receive signals faster.
